Assistant Store Manager Reports to: Store Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $39,000- $42,000 plus monthly bonus of 4-15% of base

Transfer Center Supervisor

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Transfer Center Supervisor will assist in the responsibilities for learning and executing the skills required to manage the North Aurora Transfer Center. These skills include but are not limited to: leading our driver group, leading our safety initiative, creating and leading a customer service culture, supporting our sales department, delivery execution, inventory management and controlling operating expenses.

Supervisor Status: 3^rd Shift- Full-Time

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TRANSFER CENTER SUPERVISOR:

• Assist in managing the daily delivery process of Oberweis manufactured and non- manufactured products to our customer’s homes, grocery stores and our company owned dairy stores.
• Assist in executing departmental goals and objectives.
• Promote safety awareness and accident prevention.
• Participate in accident investigations
• Address safety issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and other governmental regulations.
• Train and educate employees on company policies and safe working habits.
• Hold employees accountable to company policies, safe working practices, and government compliance.
• Monitor “On Time" deliveries and adjust schedules and work load accordingly. Monitor driver start and finish times.
• Assist in the hiring of new employees
• Assist in holding employees accountable and assist in terminating employees if necessary
• Reduce special deliveries through training, coaching and accountability.
• Learn and be able to execute facility and fleet management and maintenance.
• Learn and be able to execute demand forecasting and inventory management.
• Assist in maintaining a facility sanitation program.
• Record and report key performance indicators and use these to identify areas for improvement.
• Regularly review progress with team members and commit to continuous improvement.
• Provide relief coverage where and when needed.
• Administer monthly safety training.
• Conduct daily shift huddles, may consist of weather related issues or hazards, recent near misses, product info.
• Ability to provide unbiased feedback to the manager on driver performance.
• Assist with routing issues.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with drivers/management.
• Ensure adherence to the truck schedule or modify the truck schedule to fit particular needs of the shift without disruption to other shifts.
• Reward, recognize and celebrate employees and facility achievements.

HOURS

Generally, 9:00pm to 6:00am or as business dictates. Must be flexible.

Position Description:

We are looking for a Home Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Home Delivery Driver Work Schedule: 5-day work week (Monday – Friday or Sunday night – Friday morning). You must be able to work either shift.

Home Delivery Driver Salary: $45,000-$55,000

HOME DELIVERY DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pre-inspections of delivery trucks
• Prepare orders from load sheets and hand held computers
• Deliver a variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Complete daily paperwork for deliveries and DOT regulations
• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks
• Practice safe driving by following DOT regulations and safety standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver’s license
• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, frequently perform heavy pushing / pulling of product and work in refrigerated conditions (33-38 degrees)
• Ability to drive safely in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, physical environment

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Oberweis Dairy is seeking experienced professional CDL B Delivery Drivers who pride themselves on high standards of quality, safety, and customer service to join our team. The Delivery Driver will safely drive a company vehicle on established routes to unload pre-ordered products. Each route and delivery day are unique and entail an average 15 – 20 wholesale stops. Desired candidates have highly-developed interaction skills and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Delivery Drivers are expected to comply with Oberweis appearance guidelines and wear a company approved uniform.

CDL DELIVERY DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• CDL B with air-brakes
• Pre- and Post-inspections of delivery vehicles
• Safe and courteous operation of delivery vehicles
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicle
• Pick orders form handheld device
• Daily paperwork and logs completed for assigned deliveries
• Drive and work safely to prevent accidents and injuries.
• 4-day work week (typically Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday)
• Deliver in an efficient and professional manner.
• Follow DOT regulations and ability to pass a DOT physical

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Production Manager directs and coordinates all process activities and personnel within manufacturing operations to safely deliver quality products on time to our customers. To be successful, this leader will cultivate an environment where safety comes first, employee development is valued, and continuous improvement of quality, delivery, and productivity are celebrated with the team. This position will partner with other functional areas (quality, regulatory, planning, materials, maintenance, etc.), customers, and suppliers to align plant activities with established business objectives for product/customer requirements.

We are actively looking for a production manager to join our team, and enjoy a dynamic, collaborative culture. This role will allow you to engage with the many exciting facets of a food and beverage manufacturing organization. The ideal individual will work hard and be results driven, but also have fun along the way.

TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES

• Leads and directs all shift operation including manufacturing team of shift leads and production personnel to efficiently meet production goals.
• Plan, Lead and facilitate Daily Team Huddles
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety policies/protocols and promote a safety focused culture.
• Responsible for setting and managing employee performance expectations and for driving a culture of continual learning and employee development.
• Drives improvements to Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Compiles, analyzes, and reviews production and operating reports and drives resolution to operational, manufacturing, and maintenance challenges to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining workforce staffing plans which align with S&OP forecasts.
• Must provide leadership all LEAN & Operational Excellence initiatives for value streams / processes under areas of positional responsibility. Collaborate with additional plant leadership on other plant related initiatives as applicable.
• Direct, train, and monitor activity within the team, insuring compliance with all appropriate procedures and policies for that functional group.
• Fosters collaboration between quality, materials, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, customer service, and distribution.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in the Dairy Industry strongly preferred.

• Experience in Lean Leadership and successful use of tools: 6S, GEMBA Daily Management Processes, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, Line Balancing, 5 Whys / Root Cause Corrective Action, Quick Changeover and TPM.
• Use of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint required specifically for generating business plans, conducting process / product analysis and drafting reports to management. Microsoft Visio and Project experience preferred.
• ERP experience preferred.
• A credible safety record in previous positions.

We are looking for a Prep Cook to assist in the preparation of our dishes in the kitchen. You will perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients, so that food can be prepared according to recipes.

A great prep cook will be quick, diligent, and willing to improve on the job. You will be deft and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team

• Follow the prep list created by the Manager to plan duties
