Position Summary
We are seeking a Cost Accountant & Data Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional with a passion for cost accounting, financial systems, and data integrity, especially someone excited about making a direct impact on profitability and operational efficiency.
You’ll play a critical role in implementing our new ERP system (Microsoft Business Central), managing master data, enhancing inventory accuracy, and delivering insights that drive smarter financial decisions. If you enjoy digging into data, streamlining systems, and working in a dynamic manufacturing environment, this role is for you.
Location: North Aurora, IL (On-site) Department: Finance & Accounting Reports to: Controller Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM Salary: $110k- $120k annually
Key Responsibilities
ERP Implementation & Data Management
Lead cost accounting responsibilities during the implementation of Microsoft Business Central ERP.
Build and maintain accurate master data including product records, bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and cost structures.
Migrate cost and inventory data from the legacy AS400 system to the new ERP platform.
Cost Accounting & Financial Analysis
Maintain cost accounting records related to dairy and food production operations.
Develop standard costs for both manufactured and purchased products.
Analyze cost variances and prepare product/category-level margin reports.
Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development to evaluate and price new SKUs.
Inventory & Regulatory Compliance
Oversee inventory valuation and ensure accuracy across systems and physical inventory.
Support month-end and year-end inventory reconciliations and close processes.
Ensure compliance with Federal Milk Market reporting requirements.
Financial Reporting & Strategic Project
Generate monthly cost reports and provide actionable insights for executive leadership.
Create financial models to support cost-reduction initiatives and process improvements.
Maintain the fixed asset register and prepare depreciation entries and reports.
Assist the Controller and CFO with audits, special projects, and budget planning.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
3–5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (food or dairy industry preferred).
Hands-on experience implementing ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central strongly preferred).
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and variance analysis.
Familiarity with relational databases and query/reporting tools.
Experience working with legacy systems (e.g., AS400) and ERP transitions.
Soft Skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
Position Summary: The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accounts receivable ledger, by managing collections and cash applications. This role supports home delivery, wholesale, and distributor billing processes, while collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and provide outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and distribute accurate invoices promptly to customers.
Monitor and track outstanding balances; follow up to ensure timely payments.
Maintain and reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments.
Manage collection activities and send follow-up inquiries using mail-merge or other communication tools.
Submit delinquent accounts to collection agencies as necessary.

Position Description
Oberweis Dairy is looking for a Web Developer. We are looking for a passionate web development leader who has experience architecting enterprise solutions and developing an overall Web development strategy. This individual will review and contribute to solution designs and also define technical requirements and processes. An individual in this position will be working in our warehouse palletizing a variety of beverages. A successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, follow processes, troubleshoot, handle food products and packaging safely, and master the operations of several machines. Additionally, a successful candidate must be willing to work in a cold environment of 32F to 38F.

Our machines are critical to the success of our operation. Under general supervision, Maintenance Technicians will perform services and repairs to ensure reliability of equipment and improve the overall equipment effectiveness of all machines within the manufacturing facility. This includes possessing the following skill sets: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, fabrication, carpentry, painting, plastering, janitorial, HVAC, ammonia, machine & vehicle servicing. This individual will also need to work safely and cohesively to support, sustain, and improve the manufacturing facility, the building, and the grounds. Troubleshooting and thoughtfully moving through observational data is foundational for this position at Oberweis Dairy. Documenting procedures, and following written standard operating procedures is a surefire way to be successful in this role.
Assistance with development, and, execution of our Preventive Maintenance Program.
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and other production machines.
Utilize trouble shooting skills to repair issues with production equipment
Removes and replaces defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
Proficient with basic 120 VAC control circuits and 3 phase AC voltage sources (277/480 VAC) to complete routine electrical repair, adjustment, and installation work.
Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using rulers, calipers, micrometers, hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, straightedges, and other measuring instruments.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop equipment.
Assists in maintaining equipment, parts, and supply inventories.
Maintains technical knowledge and possesses a drive for continuous improvement by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and needs.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Education and Experience

Crew Member Supervisor: Manager / Assistant / Shift Leader
Hours: Part time, 10 – 30 hours per week

Crew Member Position Summary:
Provides customers with outstanding, friendly service in a timely manner, and handles orders accurately and in a timely manner
Work Environment:
