What products are available through the Home Delivery Service?

In addition to our award-winning milk and ice cream, Oberweis Dairy Home Delivery offers a wide variety of farm-fresh dairy products including yogurt, eggs, butter, cottage cheese, sour cream, cheese and creams. You'll be proud to serve your family our unique blend of products that also include our juices, juice blends, fruit drinks, coffee, desserts and other specialty breakfast items such as bacon, sausage, bagels and muffins. How much does the Home Delivery Service cost?

The cost of our Home Delivery service is based on the products you order plus a small delivery charge of $2.99 per delivery. Current pricing for our products is shown on our Menu and Product Information page.

What is a “Standing Order?”

A standing order is the amount and variety of products you would like to have delivered to your home each week. This standing order is posted on our computer records and you can change it simply by visiting our Order Change page or by calling our Customer Service department at 1-866-OBERWEIS (1-866-623-7934). Of course, we invite you to add products to your order at any time. A visit to our Order Change page, a call to our office or a note left in your dairy box will alert us to any changes you would like to make.

However, to ensure the quality and freshness of the products you receive, your driver carries only limited quantities of extra product on his truck. We recommend that you visit the Order Change page up to 10:00 pm the night before your delivery is scheduled or call our Customer Service department so your driver can make sure he has the items you wish to purchase. Our order cut off times for customer service are:

Why a Dairy Box?

The insulated dairy box you received with your first order was specially designed for Oberweis Dairy to protect the quality of our products from the effects of sunlight and temperature changes. Many people do not know that light causes deterioration in the vitamin content of milk and may affect the flavor. The charge for this protective box is a one-time, non-refundable fee.

Because we care about the quality of the products you receive, your driver cannot leave a delivery if this box is not available for him to use. Please remember that you will still be assessed our nominal delivery fee if your driver attempts to deliver your order and the box is not available. Please dispose of the plastic caps and rinse your empty milk bottles before returning them to the dairy box for your driver to pick up.

Glass bottle products are, of course, susceptible to breakage when frozen, therefore, we have established a policy of having your milkman ring your doorbell in the case of extremely cold weather when even the insulated box cannot prevent freezing. Please be assured that this will be done only when absolutely necessary to protect the quality of the products you order.

How Do I Pay?

For your convenience, you may choose from one of the following payment options thru our eBilling program. To enroll, please review the section below "What is eBilling" for details.

  • Direct Withdrawal – You may authorize us to automatically withdraw the amount of your weekly invoice from your checking account.
  • We accept all major debit and credit cards.

What is eBilling?

eBilling is our new green-friendly and convenient billing option for Oberweis Home Delivery customers! With eBilling, you simply establish a method of payment (debit card, credit card, or checking account) and provide your e-mail address. Each Monday, your payment account will be charged for the previous week’s deliveries along with any outstanding balance, and you will receive a payment receipt via e-mail. The entire process is fast, convenient, and paperless!

Commonly asked questions:

  1. What is included on the eBilling payment receipt?
    Your eBilling payment receipt will include an itemized statement of each product ordered, other charges and credits, tax, and any prior balance. Oberweis will send the payment receipt to your e-mail address each Monday.
  2. What do I need to sign up for eBilling?
    To enroll in eBilling, you need to setup your method of payment and provide your e-mail address. We accept all major debit and credit cards as well as electronic funds transfer (EFT) from your checking account. Customers who want to have their checking account charged will need to provide a voided check.
  3. Is there a way to signup for eBilling with monthly payments?
    Unfortunately, no. Our eBilling system calculates your payment after every delivery and charges your payment account for that week’s activity. This is the standard across the retail industry (where payments are made around the time goods are sold), and most monthly services are even charged in advance.
  4. Do you ever sell my e-mail address?
    No. Your e-mail address is used only for Oberweis Dairy purposes. You can opt-out of marketing messages and special offers from Oberweis if you choose.
  5. How do I sign-up for eBilling?
    You can sign-up for eBilling by contacting a member of our friendly Customer Service staff at 866-OBERWEIS (866-623-7934).
  6. Are there any additional costs to me?
    No. eBilling is a convenient way to help the planet, and it’s free!
  7. Why should I sign up for eBilling?
    By signing up for eBilling, you will:
    • Help protect the environment by saving paper!
    • Conveniently receive your home delivery payment receipt via e-mail each Monday following the week of delivery.
    • Have the ability to match products received to your payment receipt each week.
    • No longer have an entire month’s worth of your purchases build up.
    • Eliminate misplaced invoices in your Oberweis cooler.
    • Make your driver’s route a bit simpler for him without having to sort through invoices.
  8. When can I start my account on eBilling?
    You can start eBilling anytime! Your account will be charged for the prior week’s deliveries each Monday along with any outstanding balance.
  9. Do I have to sign-up for eBilling?
    As an existing Oberweis Home Delivery customer, eBilling is currently an option; however, new customers starting Oberweis Home Delivery service will be asked to enroll in eBilling from the start.

What is the Holiday Delivery Schedule?

There are only two days per year that we don't make deliveries...Thanksgiving and Christmas. Customers that would normally receive a delivery on either of these days should consider taking a larger delivery the week before these dates. Those customers will receive a notice from their milkman if their normal delivery is to be affected. We do not make up these deliveries.

What Happens When I Go On Vacation?

If you do not wish to receive your weekly delivery - whether you're going to be out of town for a week or going away for the weekend or season - just let us know.

The easiest way is to call our office at least one day in advance, or leave a note in your dairy box for your milkman at least one week in advance. If you manage your account on-line you can also request this here. Simply click on the red delivery options button above your order summary. There you will see several options for suspending your order.

As long as your milkman knows not to stop at your home, the delivery charged will be waived.
