How many kids do you know who think it’s fun to trudge up and down the street knocking on doors to sell candy bars? It’s been a ritual for years.

Now Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy stores have a fun alternative! Why not use ice cream to help you reach your fundraising goals with our NEW ICE CREAM FUNDRAISER!

1. Visit your nearest Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store and present documentation of your organization’s 501-(c)(3) status. You’ll be provided with an Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store Fundraising Kit consisting of a poster, application form and a coupon flyer personalized with your organization’s information and shopping dates. You can make as many copies of the master
coupon sheet as you think are necessary to help you reach your goals.

2. Distribute the coupons to supporters of your organization. Coupons will display dates* on which they can be used. Customers must present their coupon at time of purchase and sign it. The cashier will then enter the purchase amount, excluding tax, and keep the coupon to determine the total amount your organization has earned. Please note that the distribution of fundraiser coupons may NOT take place in the vicinity/outside our store locations. Doing so will jeopardize the payment of the funds raised.

Want to add more excitement? We are now involving your staff and faculty! Different members of your staff and faculty are encouraged to work in the store by doing a variety of different jobs or tasks for us such as scooping ice cream, greeting guests, or maintaining the dining room. It is a great way to socialize with those supporting your fundraiser while putting some familiar faces behind the counter. Contact your nearest Oberweis store for more details.

3. In approximately six weeks after your shopping days, your organization will receive a percentage of the total purchases for your event in the form of a check from Oberweis made payable to your organization.

Get the most for your efforts!
When planning a fundraising event think about repeating it every month throughout the year for maximum impact. Put reminders in newsletters, on websites or pick up the phone and make sure people are remembering the monthly event. This is a great way to keep a steady stream of fundraising going!

*Coupons may be used only on designated shopping dates in Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy stores. Purchases made through Oberweis Dairy Home Delivery are not eligible to earn fundraising funds.
