For every new franchisee, Oberweis® delivers a specialized, hands-on training program that includes training at both our corporate office and our training store. Then, as part of the store development process, we conduct additional on-site training during the pre-opening and post-opening phases of your Oberweis Store. We start with our initial training course, which includes Oberweis product knowledge, business processes and best practices at our Oberweis University Learning Center. Our comprehensive training includes product knowledge, business practices, hiring and employee development, retail sales training, store administration, enterprise and POS technology, store management strategies and local store marketing. Following that initial training course, we will help you start off on the right foot with a program for the on site training during the pre-opening and post-opening phases of your franchised store with your staff and management. Our focus during this phase is to help you educate your staff in our core mission components -- superb product quality, excellent customer service, and creating that fun atmosphere all Oberweis customers expect. We will also focus your staff and managers on the most profitable ways to operate your store. Our owners, managers and staff will also have the opportunity to receive formal instruction at our Oberweis University learning center. We furnish training and marketing resources over the internet, our franchisee intranet, on computer-based video instruction and through a variety of training & marketing manuals and materials.
