- Upon your careful examination of our materials, we will schedule a
follow-up call to answer any questions you have regarding an Oberweis
store.
- In response to that discussion and if appropriate, you will receive
our Prospective Franchisee Application form. This application tells us
about you, your background, education and other qualifications. It
should be returned to us, along with your most current resume
promptly.
- Once reviewed, appropriate prospective franchise candidates are
extended the opportunity to visit Oberweis Headquarters in suburban
Chicago for a one-on-one business opportunity presentation. As you
meet with our executive staff, we will further educate you about our
industry, business and company, allowing you to ask questions and
further explore the Oberweis franchise opportunity. Email franchise@oberweis.com
to schedule a one on one Discovery Day.
- During this meeting, you will get a Uniform Franchise Offering
Circular ("UFOC") which includes the Earnings Claim Document
to read and review. We will also give you additional support
information for your review and reference.
- If we mutually agree to continue the evaluation process, we will ask
that you provide us with business and personal references, along with
background verification. This step will not be taken without your
express permission.
- Following the due diligence procedure, a mutual decision will be
made to move forward. If both parties agree, we will grant you an
Oberweis franchise and begin the necessary steps in planning and
opening your new store.
